Palo Alto, CA- Plug and Play Tech Center is opening a new start-up facility in Palo Alto, CA. The 10,000 square foot building located at 530 University Ave is owned by the Amidi group which is well known for the "Good Karma" building at 165 University Ave, which housed such well known start-ups as Google, PayPal, and Danger.

With the early success of the Plug and Play Tech Center concept in Sunnyvale, CA, the Amidi group has decided to open up two more facilities in the heart of Silicon Valley. The first one is at 530 University Ave, Palo Alto, CA and the second at 370 Convention Way, Redwood City, CA, conveniently located off the 101 Freeway.

The Plug and Play concept was first introduced in 2006. Over 150 start-up companies are located at the Plug and Play Tech Center Sunnyvale location. The start-ups range in size from 1 to 50 people. Besides flexible office leasing, Plug and Play offers its entrepreneur community access to top tier Venture Capital partners, as well as their own funding arm, Amizad Investments. Plug and Play’s strategic partnerships in the high-tech, legal and banking industries also offer their entrepreneur community unparalleled access to these industry giants.

"They really get the way Silicon Valley works." says Ron Conway, an angel founder that has participated in many deals with the Amidi family through Amizad investments.

The three Plug and Play Tech Center locations offer a hub where start-ups can network, and take advantage of the partnerships and relationships Plug and Play has championed to help their entrepreneurs build great companies. With some of the "Good Karma" coming from up the street…Plug and Play Palo Alto is looking to add to the list of successful start-ups that turned into great companies.
